Context & Objectives

FacturaES is a redesign proposal for the Spanish public administration's e-invoicing experience. The project starts from an analysis of existing tools such as Facturae and MiFacturae, identifying usability, accessibility and comprehension issues for freelancers and small businesses. Using a User-Centered Design methodology, a unified experience was developed for creating, signing and sending electronic invoices to the various official portals, reducing fragmentation and dependence on external tools. The process included benchmarking, interviews, personas, user journeys, cognitive walkthroughs, wireframes, user testing, UI design, a design system and heuristic evaluation. The final proposal achieved a SUS score of 91.67 and a 100% success rate on three of the four tasks evaluated.
